CBT Therapist for social anxiety, self-doubt and low self-esteem.
Choosing a therapist is a personal decision.
You're not only looking for someone with the right qualifications – you want someone you feel comfortable talking to. Someone who will understand your experiences without judging them.
Hi, I’m Nina.
I hope this page gives you a sense of who I am, how I work and why I care so deeply about helping people make sense of themselves.

Postgraduate Diploma (MA level) in Analytical Psychology and Healing Practice (2015)
Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Interventions (2014)
BSc (Hons) Public Policy and Management and Social Studies (2000)
Full accreditation with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (2020 - ongoing)
Why I became a therapist.
My approach isn't based solely on professional training.
It's also shaped by my own experience.
Growing up in a challenging environment and experiencing bullying influenced the way I saw myself for many years. Like many of the people I work with today, I believed I needed to earn approval, prove my worth and become someone different in order to be accepted.
Through my own experience of therapy, I realised there wasn't something wrong with me. The way I felt made sense in the context of what I'd experienced.
That shift changed not only how I saw myself, but also the therapist I wanted to become.
Today, I feel privileged to help other people experience that same sense of understanding.
What I love about this work.
One of the things I love most about being a therapist is seeing people discover new perspectives and begin trusting themselves in ways they never thought possible.
I also love the collaborative nature of therapy. We'll think things through together. I'll ask questions, share ideas, explain psychological concepts in everyday language and introduce practical strategies that help you put new insights into practice.
It's a privilege to encourage people as they grow in confidence, trust themselves more and begin living in a way that feels true to who they are.
What it’s like to work with me.
Clients often describe me as calm, patient and gently direct.
I care deeply about creating a space where you feel comfortable enough to be honest, curious enough to explore difficult experiences and supported enough to try new ways of responding.
I won't expect you to have the right words or all the answers.
We'll work things out together, at a pace that feels right for you.
